Here is my entry this week at Linda's blog
http://studiol3.blogspot.com/ This technique is fun to do, because you always get a different effect. I chose not to use it as a background, but send it through the tattered florals die. I made a card, and used the new music texture fade. The letters are cut from my sizzix also, and sprayed with green glimmer mist. I love sparkle! The colors of alcohol inks I used were, lettuce, eggplant, stonewashed, and cranberry.
I was going to use the Tattered Florals die..but I couldn't find it right away! ;-) The dies work really well with this technique, don't they? Great card!
ReplyDeleteOoh your flower is gorgeous! great way to use the technique.
ReplyDeleteAnother smart creator using the splatter ink paper for the die cut! Very smart, and makes for a beautiful effect!

ReplyDeleteThis is really cool! I love the pretty colors and awesome charm :)
ReplyDeleteHello my friend, thanks for your lovely comment at Dezinaworld. I am not sure what happened with pixels on the image you downloaded. Which one was it ? did you resize the image ? I will take a look at the one you got as nobody ever mentioned that. I will try and send you one that is easier to print to replace it :)

ReplyDeletePam, this is sensational! I love your clever use of the CCC technique on the flowers-- it's unique and fun and just leaps right off the page! The embossed background suits it perfectly, and this is such a versatile design. With a little tweaking, it would work for any holiday on the calendar. Great job!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely idea using the tattered florals with your CCC technique!
ReplyDeleteHi Pam,thanks for getting back to me. I am wondering if the printing problem is because the two sheets you tried are the older sheets and are not set up for standard A4 sized paper printing. They work well for others but everyone has different printers. I would like to try something with you if thats ok but need you to email me so i can send it via email. my address is dezinaworld@gmail.com could you email me please and hope we can get things printing ok for you.
