So Little Time....

Hello! So I haven't been in my craft room since last Friday!! Whoah!! I know, where has this past week gone?! Well, I wanted to share something, so here are some cards for magazine publication that were rejected. The first two were made with a Market Street Stamps background stamp, I really love that one! The sentiment on the first card is from Technique Tuesday. The last one is a note card made with decorative mini cupcake liners, and the sentiment is from Lawn Fawn. So that's my eye candy for today! I hope to get some crafting time soon!! I do have this Friday off, woohoo!! Thanks for dropping by!!

Best Day and Winner!!

Welcome Back! I wanted to share one last Unity card with you! I made this for my little guy who's birthday is in a few days. I stamped this Itty Bitty from Simple Stories called Best Day onto the card, made a mask on a post it, then used my favorite Distress Ink to cover all around it. I love doing this with this calendar image, it just totally pops! Here is a close up:
The birthday sentiment is from the Unity kit How You Doin?
Now on to the winner of the Itty Bitty stamps!!!

Thinking of Who?

Hi all!! Today is my last post for the Growing in Unity week! I kept this last card really CAS so I could show off just the stamped image. This Itty Bitty is called Thinking of Who. I applied brown ink to the bottom half of the stamp, then wiped off any that got on the leaves part, then inked with green and stamped. This image lends itself to many embellishment options, but I chose to use some green sequins since they are all the rage. I did apply some light blue chalk for the background, but it doesn't show up well in the photo. I used my blender pen and the same green ink for the grass beneath the tree. I want to thank you all for stopping by this week, and welcome my new followers! It has really lifted my spirits!! Be sure to stop by tomorrow, as I will announce the winner of the two Itty Bitty stamp sets of their choice!!!! A HUGE thanks to Unity for having me this week, it has been a pleasure!!!!! :)

Happy Friday!!

Hello paper crafters!! Today is my 5th day as the Growing in Unity Gal for Unity Stamps!! Since I have been showcasing the Itty Bitty line, no collection would be complete without a little Phyllis Harris!! Her images are just the sweetest, and this is the You Are My Main Squeeze Itty Bitty. As my coloring skills are starting to expand, I have used Distress Markers on heavy watercolor paper on this one. I have tried coloring directly onto the paper, then blending, but I just can't get it to blend enough. So I scribble the marker onto my craft sheet and go from there. I did not use the sentiment that comes with this set, but chose one from the kit The Best. When I was little, my stuffed animals WERE a big deal!!!(I still love them!) But is a sweet sentiment for a best friend, sister, or Mother. Since today is also Friends With Flair Day on the Unity blog, I am linking to it! Thank you so much for visiting, and have a wonderful weekend!!!

Absolutely Priceless

Happy Thursday!! Today is my 4th day of sharing my Unity projects with you! I am showcasing the Itty Bitty stamp set called Absolutely Priceless. I stamped the hot air balloon with Lucky Limeade ink, then used some glossy accents on the colored part to make it a little more dimensional. I also added a few drops around the balloon as well. This Itty Bitty has three different banner sentiments that you can use as one image, or cut them apart as I did here. Here is a close up of the balloon:
Thanks for stopping by, and be sure to leave a comment on all my Growing In Unity posts for your chance to win 2 Itty Bitty stamp sets of your choice!!

Rainbow Chevrons

Hello, and happy Wednesday to you! I am sharing my third Unity project for my Growing in Unity week! My background was created with the Jillibean Soup for Unity Chevron background stamp. I inked the stamp with various distress markers. I love this stamp!! It is huge, and completely covers a card front! The sentiment is from the Unity Itty Bitty Hello Friend set. Be sure to check back every day this week for your chance to win 2 Itty Bitty stamp sets!! Thank you so much for stopping by!
And while I have you here, I just want to say that my heart goes out to all those in Oklahoma. I live in a small town, and this tornado would have taken everything out, and just can't imagine the devastation. I would love to send them clothing and shoes, especially for the little ones. The red cross is already there passing out food, and they only accept money donations. If anyone knows of an organization that I could donate items to, please let me know in the comments, thank you!

GIU Day 2!

Hello stampers, and welcome to day 2 of my Growing in Unity week!! As I mentioned yesterday, I am focusing on using Unity's Itty Bitty stamps for my projects this week. Today I used the set called She & He, which has this wonderful large arrow image that I repeatedly stamped onto the card front with my stamp-a-ma-jig. I have also used this stamp as a border along scrapbook pages, it's great because of it's size! The sentiment is from the kit Now and Always. I think this card will be used for some special occasion, the 'life event' they call it. Some special life changing event. So anyway, thanks for stopping by again, and be sure to leave a comment for your chance to win 2 Itty Bitty stamp sets from Unity!!
