One of a Kind

Hey there! I have a card to share today that I made for the Paper Smooches SPARKS challenge(which ends tomorrow!!) This time it's Anything Goes!

I stamped the cute wagon from the Paper Smooches Knick Knacks set, and colored it, then used a post it to mask off the top. I stamped the flowers from the PS Crystal clear set in purple, then another in yellow, and fussy cut it out. The frame is also from PS called Duo Die 1, and the sentiment is from the PS Word Salad stamp set. Papers are from Teresa Collins/My Mind's Eye. I have created a linky list showing the Paper Smooches supplies I have used. A cool new tool from Inlinkz!! Thank you for having a look!

Pop It

Hello! Today starts a new challenge at The Stamping Boutique!! This time we want to see your 'Sentiment Pop'! For my card I have used TSB image Alexis. Isn't she cute, all rocked out?!! Love her! I printed her out onto water color paper, and colored with Distress inks, and a brush. I did add a few accents to her with my clear glaze pen, but not sure they show up well. I stamped the music background onto vellum, and stamped the sentiment onto a punched circle, and kept stamping it without reinking. I popped it up with foam adhesive onto a purple punched circle, then attached that to my card with an action wobble. Here is a close up of it:
I hope you can join our challenge, you can win some sweet images from The Stamping Boutique!!

Bag in a Box treat containers

I have a couple treat boxes to share with you today! I found the tutorial for these here, by Sam Donald, using the envelope punch board. I still have yet to make an envelope with mine!! :o
I made these for the Lawnscaping Challenge, which this time is to Bling It.

I used Lawn Fawn papers from Into the Woods for the blue one, and also Let's Polka for the pink one. The Lawn Fawn stamps are from Critters in the Burbs, and Sew Lovely. I stamped the bunny and kitty with Let's Polka papers, and added glitter to them for my bling. Yes, I went the messy route, as I dumped silver glitter onto my lap!! So now my floor is all pretty and sparkly!! lol I added a little more glitter to the punched label because it looked too plain, and needed some bling too! The blue one I will give to my son because he likes kitties. Here is a little close up of the glitter I put on the critters:
Hard to photograph the sparkle! Thank you for having a look!

Hey Foxy

Hey there! I have a card to share today that I made for the new Peachy Keen Challenge. This time there is a sketch to follow:

I followed the sketch almost exactly, using the punched circles as shown. I made a punch art face, and stamped it with the Peachy Keen Laughy Taffy faces stamp set. I don't know the maker of the sentiment stamp, as I bought it used, and there was no original package. But I think it fits my sassy punch art Lady! This is a larger card, it's 5" x 7". All papers are from Stampin Up. Thanks as always for stopping by!

Springtime Hello

I am anxiously awaiting for Spring to come!! Just to have temperatures at 50 or above would be wonderful!! Today's card is one I made for the challenge at The Paper Shelter blog. The theme is to use animals, and I have chosen to use a Paper Shelter image called Teddy Bear Picking Flowers. I printed him out onto water color paper, and used Distress inks and a paintbrush to color him in. Water coloring takes me a long time, this image took about an hour and 15 minutes to complete! But it is oh so cute! When I was done, I really didn't want to figure what papers and such to use, so I grabbed all sorts of bits that was on my desk. Die cuts from my grab bag, ribbon, enamel dots, just anything that was in sight! It all goes together fairly well I think! I searched for a stamped sentiment but there was none to be found! So a Unity stamp set was right in front of me, so I used one from it, and paper punched it out with a scrap of water color paper. My punch didn't like it very much!! The paper is so thick. Anyway, as always, thank you for stopping by, and have a great weekend!

Best 'Bunnies'

Just wanted to share some new goodies that I bought recently! First is the Honey Bunny stamp set from Mama Elephant. I was totally smitten with these cuties the first time I saw them, and new I had to have them come live with me :) The stamp set has other cute bunnies and fun sentiments as well. I've seen so many ways to use these already from their DT, but when I got them, I knew I had this fence die from Memory Box that I thought would be cute to use with them. And the die is the perfect size too, bonus!! I colored the two bunnies with alcohol markers, and fussy cut them out. Another new goodie are these papers from Lawn Fawn. I knew the sunburst paper would be perfect for the background, and the green polka dot makes cute grass. It took me awhile to figure out where to put the sentiment. It overcrowded the bottom of the card, and didn't look right at the top, until I thought of making it a wavy banner. I curled it up a bit and adhered it to only two places. Now it looks like it's waving in the air, perfect! Here is a close up of it:
Thanks for stopping by and checking out some of my new things!!

Hello Sunshine

Hey there! Today I have a card to share which was inspired by the Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge with this inspirational color/photo:
PKC-14-02
I am still new to the Peachy Keen Stamps, and have only two of their faces stamp sets. The one I used on this card is called 1/2" Funshine Faces Side Views. Their faces stamps will go perfectly with my punch art, which on this card is the sun. I stamped the face on the sun to shine down on the die cut clouds. And the cloud looks happy to have the sun shining on him! :) I used a few colors from the inspiration, but was more inspired by the stripes and polka dots. The designer papers are from Lawn Fawn. Thanks for having a look today!!
