This week's challenge at Linda's blog is rusted grunge. Click here to visit her blog!
Well, I don't have the right color for this technique, but I made do, and entered anyway! I can't give any details about the technique, per rules of the challenge! But I used my new Unity stamps, isn't the owl a hoot?! I stamped the image, then colored them in with pencils. Used some red stickles here and there, and the paper is from K&Company. My rusted piece is the arrow, and if you check the other entries, you will see it's a much different color! Oh well, not complaining. Click the link above to see everyone's art this week!

Actually, I would never have known you did not have the correct color! Your rusted arrow is perfect! I could not find the DI called for and I know I have it!!! So I had to do a subby and that is what makes it a real challenge! Love your owls! Great card!
Terrific card and love those owls. Like Terry re your rusted grunge, looks perfect to me as well. Annette x
Fabulous work as always my friend.
I just came to say Happy New Year and I have added your beautiful work to the Dezinaworld website gallery here http://dezinaworld.weebly.com/gallery.html
hugs June x
I quite like the colour you achieved, and anyways it's all about the play and less about being spot on, as long as you had fun making it thats all that matters :D
The colour came out great. I didn't have the right colours either, but anything "brown" seems to work ok!
Great card! The 'rust' looks perfect! xx
Wonderful card. Great job of substituting to get your rust.
The colour works perfectly for the rusting.

Super card, love your grungy arrow and cute owls.
Aw, I love those owls!!! This is so sweet and wonderful and such a great way to use the rusted grunge. The color looks awesome-- seriously rusty and distressed and perfect! Love the happy background, too. Great job, Pam!
