Same Layout, 3 Different Looks

Today's set of cards all use the same layout, but different papers and colors. I wanted to use up some of the scrap pieces from my dsp stacks, so I made similar cards. This first one uses papers from the All Abloom stack. The black label is the new Chalkboard paper and stamped with the new Chalk ink.

I love a classic black and white card, and this one uses pieces my upline sent me. The original dsp is 12x12.

And this last one is very CAS. One strip of dsp and then ribbon at the bottom. Again the chalkboard paper and ink.

I think the first one is my favorite, I love the pretty papers. Which one is yours?
Thank you for having a look today!

Valentine CASE

Today's card share is one I CASE'd from another Stampin' Up! demo, Sam Donald. While my version is a bit different, it has the same concept and layout.

I've used the same Irresistibly Yours dsp, which you can get for free from the Sale-A-Bration catalog. The stars pattern is a fun touch for a Valentine card I think! The large hearts are punched out with the Sweetheart punch.

I added the sentiment from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set, and another tiny heart punched with the Itty Bitty Accents pack.

It's similar to the heart balloon card I shared last week, but in a pretty CAS way, and I love it!!

Thanks so much for having a look!!

Stampin' Up!'s Embossing Folders

My last two posts focused on uses for embossing folders. Well, today Stampin' Up! released it's new Weekly Deals, and what is this weeks sales items?! Embossing Folders!! Totally coincidental, we don't know what will be on sale until that day, but what perfect timing!! :)

There are 6 different embossing folders on sale!! AND the cute Texture Boutique machine, which embosses only. What a perfect bundle. I thought I would share a few projects from previous posts that use embossing folders.

OK, I think that's enough! LOL Just a sampling of the basic to advanced use of the embossing folders. Plus my video the other day using the clay with them!

If you purchase all the sale folders and the cute machine, you qualify for one FREE item from the Sale-A-Bration catalog!! Total bonus!!

Well, I must be off today, luckily the road crews have done a wonderful job removing all the snow from Sunday. I would say we got about 5-6 inches that day. Had to break out the snowblower too!! Thanks so much for stopping by!! :)

Northern Flurry

So how much snow have you got from this big storm?!! LOL We have enough here, I must say!! Anyway, today's card uses the ink to embossing folder technique.

I inked the Northern Flurry embossing folder with the retired Not Quite Navy ink on the raised side, then slid my card stock in and pressed the folder onto it. I also inked the edges of the panel.

The sentiment is from the Sheltering Tree set, and I tied on some silver 1/4" ribbon along the side, and added a few rhinestones to the snowflakes. This makes a pretty winter card, without actually embossing it.

I have opened an Etsy shop called Stamperpam. I have two listings right now!! lol I plan on adding more card sets in the next few weeks. But I wanted to mention my shop in case anyone missed the video.

My favorite Sale-A-Bration product this week is the Blendabilities. My upline mentioned that she is getting some during this sale, and has got me convinced to do the same!! lol With any $50.00 purchase you can pick one set of Blendabilities for FREE!! They come in a pack of three, a light, medium, and dark of certain Stampin' Up! colors. There are four brand new colors available in the Occasions catalog too!!

Thanks for stopping in for a look today!!

Get Well Wishes

Hello! I have not stamped on patterned paper for so long, and I love the look. So I took a stamp from the Flower Shop set and stamped it onto some In Colors DSP, then punched it out. The stems are from a hostess set called Hello There.

I also used the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set to give the background some clouds in the sky. I wasn't sure what greeting I wanted, so I got out the Teeny Tiny Wishes set, and decided on the get well sentiment. I also had to add some pearls to the flower centers to finish them off.

The new Weekly Deals have been posted from Stampin' Up! There are markers, Blendabilities, and my favorite, twine!! You can check them all out by visiting my online store!

Thanks so much for having a look today!!

Stampin' Up!'s January Customer Thank You Card

Hi there! I wanted to share my customers Thank You card for this month! Anyone who shops with me throughout the month of January will receive this card as my Thank You to you! You can shop through my online Stampin' Up! website anytime, and anywhere in the U.S.

This uses one of my favorite color combos, Real Red and Coastal Cabana! I've used 3 different stamp sets on this one, the sentiment uses Four You, feathers use the Four Feathers(which is still available to purchase from the carry over from the Holiday Occasions!) and the heart is from the Peace Love & Cupcakes set.

I added a strip of dsp, and a double layer of Real Red 1/4" Cotton Trim and White Bakers Twine. I added a large rhinestone to the center of the trims, and 3 small ones on the top corner.

That's it from me today, thanks so much for stopping in!!

Heart Balloons

Hello, and Happy Friday!! The card I made today I first saw in an email from Card Maker magazine(i think-lol) Anyway, they used a bunch of different hearts to create balloons, and made it into a Valentine. I think the overall layout was just the cutest, so I set out to create my own.

I've used all the heart punches and framelits that Stampin' Up! carries to make this. There are quite a few different sizes here, and even the the top part is a border punch. All of the papers except for the black vine one are retired. I have a stack of small pieces that my upline Holly has sent me over the years, and thought this was a good opportunity to use some of them.

To make the balloon 'strings' I just laid down the largest Oval framelit at the bottom of each heart and drew a line. Worked well, and is much straighter than my own lines would have been! :)

Don't forget about the new catalogs and specials/joining offer that Stampin' Up! has going on right now! Lots of great deals to be had!!

Thanks for stopping by today!! See you Monday!

Irresistibly Yours

I had a play with the new Specialty Designer Series Paper from the Sale-A-Bration catalog. I wanted to use the viney-leaves paper, and decided to sponge over it with black Memento ink. It really shows off the embossed pattern. When finished, I just wiped off the vine image with a rag.

I used two stamp sets on this, the Peace Love & Cupcakes set for the large heart and love sentiment, and another sale-a-bration set You Brighten My Day, for the small heart, which both are stamped with the new chalk ink. A couple of strips of new washi tape to anchor the hearts was all it needed!

This irresistibly yours specialty embossed paper is one of my favorites from the sale-a-bration catalog! Have you picked one yet?!

Thank you for stopping by!...........

Better Than Email

We all love to give and receive cards in the mail right?!! Well, Stampin' Up! has just released a new photopolymer stamp set called Better Than Email, that is perfect for cards and envelopes.
This set is an addition to their Angel Policy, which means, if you wish to sell any item using Stampin' Up! products, one of these(or the original stamp set in the main catalog) must be stamped somewhere on it. But I think this set has so many more uses!! The snail is the cutest for your envelopes, and the ball of yarn and the kitchen stamp is perfect for those hand made gifts!! This set will definitely be on my next order!! :)

It's also Tuesday, which means there are new Weekly Deals!
Some of my favorite items on sale this week are: Angled Tag Topper punch, Starburst framelits, Little Pieces embosslit die, and the Itty Bitty Accents punch pack(which i love!)

To check out any of these items, or the new stamp set, click on my online store link at my sidebar! Happy shopping!!! :)

Choose Happiness Valentine

I wanted to make a pretty Valentine to send to my Mom, so I broke out the Choose Happiness stamp set, and used the flower and leaves stamps. I chose Rose Red ink, and stamped twice before reinking the flowers. The leaves are just random stamped with Pear Pizzazz.

The little banner was stamped then punched, then added a button to the top. The sentiment is from the Teeny Tiny wishes stamp set. Both of these sets are in the main catalog.

The inside is blank for now, but I may add another stamped sentiment, and some more of the pretty flower images.

Thanks as always for stopping by.................

Sheltering Tree Bicycle

Hi there, and a Happy Friday to you! Today's card again uses the Sheltering Tree stamp set, but in a different way, plus I've used the cute bicycle stamp! The grass is stamped three times, then I stamped the bike to the one side. The frame of the bike is a separate stamp so you can make it a different color, then I chose to make the handlebars and seat the same color. Pretty close to what my bike looks like! :)

Instead of using the tree top stamp as intended, I inked it in Soft Sky and used it for clouds! I think it look perfect! :) The card base is also stamped the same way with Melon Mambo.

I wanted to add a flag to the bike, so I used the rake stamp, and inked only the handle and stamped it. The little flag was punched out using just the tip if the tree punch, worked wonderfully!!

The sentiment is from the same set, loving the scripty font!! That's all I have for you today, thanks for stopping by, and have a great weekend!!

Sheltering Tree Valentine

Hi there! Today I have a Valentine to share that uses the new photopolymer stamp set called Sheltering Tree. This set will be available to purchase tomorrow! I'm loving this set, just as much as the White Christmas one!

There are images that will coordinate for every season too! The hearts that I used are from a Sale-a-Bration set that will be available tomorrow as well! The ink that I used on them and the tree is the new Chalk Ink!! There is three colors that have been introduced in the Spring Occasions catalog, and have been happy with my results using them!

I used the Little Letters framelits to make the sentiment, and die cut them in two colors for a shadow look, Strawberry Slush, and Rose Red.

I think this is very sweet, and may have to make a few more! :) Thanks for having a look, and have a great day!

Happy New Year!

I hope everyone is enjoying the start of 2015!! I can't complain at all of 2014. It was a good year! And it's close to a year that I joined Stampin' Up! as an Independant Demonstrator. I've thoroughly enjoyed sharing all my projects and videos with you this past year! And while I don't set resolutions at all, I am going to set goals for myself!!

I am planning more videos, and more announcements of all the sales and promotions from the company that I have chosen as my favorite, Stampin' Up!! I love the quality, and wide variety they offer!

There is lots to see on my Stampin' Up! website, the link is on my sidebar. Once there, you can view projects I've made, read promotions, and if placing an order, just click the shop button.

Paper crafting is my life. I do a few other crafty things, but the stamps, papers, inks, etc, is what I love! Even though I go a few days without crafting, that's about all I go before running into my converted closet and start creating! I have painted that space since the last photos I've shared of it!! Will have to share an update! :)

I appreciate all my followers and those who take the time to comment, it puts a big smile on my face to see that!! :) I do believe I'm on my 5th year of blogging, it's fun to look back and see what I was doing back then. Sometimes it's not pleasant!! LOL I had no idea how immersed I would become in this hobby then, but have loved every minute!!

I will be back with more for you next week when the Occasions and Sale-a-Bration catalogs go live!! Can't wait to share!!!!!!!!
