Thankful For You in Raffia
The peeps over at the Gingersnap Creations blog, have a spicy supply challenge to use raffia to go along with their down on the farm theme this month. This is an excellent challenge, because I have never thought to use raffia in my paper craft projects. I have a ton of it in my cabinet, and always use it in floral arranging. Now I've used all types of twine and hemp, but the raffia will now stay in my paper craft supplies! And some of the Ladies have inked theirs, and it looks fabulous that way too! I braided my raffia, then tied the ends to make a wreath. The papers I used are from the Authentique Blissful pad. I die cut a Spellbinders Picot Edge circle to anchor the wreath to. I used Gathered Twigs and Wild Honey DI inks on the whole card. The sentiments are from Unity and Hero Arts. If you would like to see other projects, or join in yourself, click on the link above! Thank you for stopping by!
