Lilacs

Today's CAS challenge at Splitcoast Stampers is to incorporate LOVE into your card. Here is mine:
L-lilacs
                 O-orange and oval
   V-vellum
         E-embossing

It's a fun challenge, and there are many different interpretations. I made my lilac by punching many small flowers and gluing them into shape. I did stamp a few small green leaves at the bottom for a little more color.

The vellum butterflies are fluttering about from the sweet smell of the lilac. I can't wait for mine to bloom in real life, they smell wonderful!

I backed it with a brick embossing folder, and I die cut the pinked edge panel before attaching anything to it. A little chicken wire was stamped behind the flower as well.

Thanks so much for visiting!!
