Spring Hat Box

The May Arts Ribbon blog had a Design Team call, and this is what I made for it. I didn't make the team however, but wanted to share my entry anyway! These are paper mache hat boxes that I covered with paper, and May Arts ribbons. I sewed two ribbons together for the trim, and the flowers. I think they both came out so pretty, so at least I have some cute storage now!! I even painted some wooden wheels, and glued them to the bottom for legs, and a handle at the top. Thanks for stopping by today!

I can't believe you did not make the design team! This box shows a beautiful use of their ribbons and trims! Absolutely fabulous and very well designed.
