DT Time!!

Time to post my card for my Design Team! This week at 2 Sister's challenge blog, the theme is to use embossing. We are being sponsored by 2 fabulous companies, Meljen's Design's, and Crafty Sentiments. My image came from Crafty Sentiments called Rose & Roxy, and I colored her with my pencils and blender pen. She is cut out on a Spellbinders die, then embossed. The background paper is from Authentique's Gathering collection. The ribbon rose I made by first dyeing white ribbon with broken china DI. I then adhered it to a punched circle by loosly gathering it around, and ending in the middle. I have tried these before and never seemed to get it right, but this one came out just fine! The sentiment is from the ippity set How You Doin? and is punched out with a small oval Stampin Up! punch. Some twine tied on the button, and the bottom of the card completes it!
