I first want to say that I'm having blogger issues. I can't comment on any blogs outside the US. I can view your blogs, but it won't let me comment. So, I just wanted to let you all know I've read your posts for the last few days, and when blogger quits acting up I'll be back to comment!
Ok, this card is going to 2 challenges. The My Unity Place challenge is to do a one layer card. You can click the link at my sidebar. The second challenge it goes to is at StudioL3, which we are doing a technique from Tim's site back in 08'. The link to that is here. I used a Unity stamp set called Feel the Joy, and adirondack inks in meadow, eggplant, and watermelon red. A fun watercolor effect with this technique, and the possibilities are endless! Scrolls Works Stamps
As some of you already know, Scrolls Works stamps is going out of business. I checked the site today, and some stamps are already gone! Glad I got my order in early! I inked these up today, but haven't put them in a project yet. I'm off today to start my new job. It's been a year since I had to go to work. I know, horrible isn't it?! lol Anyway, go check their site here they have 40% off right now. This first stamp is the chocolate bunny. It is stamped with Versafine ink on white cardstock. The next one is poppies, which I see all over blogland. It is stamped with Versafine on cream cardstock, and colored in with watercolor pencils. And the last one is a realistic child stamp, which they have many of. I read their directions on the site about the different affects inks and papers will give to these types of stamps. So this one is stamped with Stazon on glossy cardstock. I could have stamped it a bit lighter, but it was my first try! I may have to get more of these images, because to me, they are quite amazing! And the stamp looks funny before you ink it, but once the ink is on it, you can really see the image! Go get yours before they are gone! Thanks for stopping by!

ATU Card-Inspired by Eva!
I was inspired again by the lovely Eva, who makes amazing layered cards. Click here to see her beauty of a card! I love visiting her blog and seeing her work. This card is being entered in the All Things Unity challenge, which is to ink up a Unity stamp you've never used. This clock stamp is from the set Folk Inspired, which I have used, but not the clock or this sentiment. I have also decorated the inside, which I really need to do more often! The inside sentiment I printed off on my computer. Thanks for looking in, and if you'd like to enter this challenge click the All things Unity link above!

Grungy Monday 07
I have missed a few of the new challenges over at Linda's StudioL3 blog! But I am in this week, and the challenge is to do Tim's color block technique which you can find the video here. Very simple to do, but what a great background you can make. This is another page for my Grungy album. I also did the technique on Tim's new mini butterflies movers and shapers. The sentiment is from my {ippity} set Here and Now. The flowers at the top are large eyelets that got a bit smooshed when I sqeezed the tool, but they are there now! Come join us this week, just click the link above!

Tooty Fruity-Well Sort Of!
The challenge this month over at The Unity Challenge Blog is to use of course fruity stamps. Mine doesn't much look like a friut stamp, but technically, tomatoes are considered a friut! I got this stamp from a grab bag at Unity's site here. I paired up this cute little guy with some new Pink Paislee papers, which fits the theme a little better!
I've been somewhat MIA from blogland lately, the warm weather has had me outside a lot mushroom hunting. Have found about 200 this year! Plus my digital camera and computer have been giving me fits lately. I have to use my old camera which doesn't take quite as good pictures as my new one. In electronic years it's considered a dinosaur now! So, for now I'll have to make due, and I still get on here to check out all my favorite blogs, just haven't been posting as much. Thanks for looking in, and if you'd like to join in on our Tooty Fruity fun, check the link above!

Sing Birdies Sing!
Every morning I wake up hearing the birds chirping outside. It's a good sound to hear in the morning because it tells me the weather is warm out! This card is going to 2 challenges. One is for the My Unity Place. You can click the link at my sidebar to see what's going on over there. Their challenge is to use embossing, and of course your Unity stamps! The other challenge is here at Unity's Challenge Blog and we are to use birds, Unity stamps again! I embossed the card front with a Cuttlebug folder, and used chalks to color the raised images. I stamped the birdcage, then used a Sizzix Scalloped Circle to cut it out. I colored those birds in with a watercolor pencil. I layered it on another scalloped circle. I wanted to add something to the scallops, so I got out my much neglected Fiskars Scrapboss, and embossed some circles in each scallop. Better. A little ribbon and flowers, and the sentiment from Birdie Duet set. Thank you for stopping by!

May Workshop Projects
Here is what we'll be making this month at my workshop! Everyone loved the tri-shutter card I posted a few weeks ago, so here is one that you can make! I must say there isn't much stamping going on with this one, but the patterned paper makes up for it! And the second is the cutest gift bag! I saw a tutorial on youtube for this, and she calls it a Genie Bag. It is made with an ordinary lunch bag, cut down a bit, and then a decorated front. I just love it! And I love youtube! If you haven't been there before, there are endless stamping and paper crafts tutorials. You really must check it out! Thank you for stopping in today!

Unity Stamp Co. turns 3!!
As a tribute to the Unity Stamp Co. bringing us such fabulous stamps for 3 years now, I have made them a birthday card using their stamps! Check their blog post here to read about the prizes they are giving away, and visit their online store here to see the special sales they have going on this week!!! If you visit my blog often, you'll see I use a lot of Unity and Ippity stamps. I am a big fan, and I hope they have many more years making us such wonderful rubber stamps!!
