Unity Stamps Day!
Happy Friday! It's Unity Friends With Flair Day, so go share your Unity projects! Yesterday I received a card from my friend Holly, that is similar to the one I made. She used snowflake stamps, but not for a winter themed card. I just love the colors together, so had to make a similar one! I used Unity's Snowflakes Fall From Heaven stamp kit, and an Itty Bitty called So Blessed for the sentiment. I think this is a perfect friendship card that can be used any time of year!! Thanks so much for having a look, and have an awesome weekend!!!

Paper Smooches Dies
Paper Smooches stamps now has dies to coordinate with some of their stamp sets. This butterfly is from the Butterflies 3 set, which has two dies. I don't have the stamp set to go with it yet, so I just die cut it out alone and used some rhinestones to accent the body. Very sweet! The sentiment and zig zag border are from the Paper Smooches Needle Little Love stamp set. I am playing along with the Paper Smooches SPARKS Picture Perfect challenge with this photo:
Doesn't that look yummy?!! Thanks so much for stopping by!!

Flower Friend
I got my very first Simon Says Stamp exclusive stamp set called Flower Friend, and had to play with it! It has lots of cute flower and leaves images, plus lots of sentiments too, which makes it a versatile set for me! I stamped a few different layouts on scrap paper to see what I liked best, and ended up using this design. I double stamped the leaves and flower to get the shadow effect, and the little blue dots are also double stamped onto scrap paper first, then onto the card. I used the Tim Holtz Sizzix plaque and postage on the edge die for my border. I am playing along with the Simon Says Stamp and Show challenge to use color of any medium. I used only ink(from Stampin Up) on this card. Thanks so much for stopping in!

Lawn Fawn Chalkboard
The Lawnscaping Challenge has an inspired by theme this week that I'm playing along with.
I was inspired by a Paper Crafts magazine submission call for this card to use the chalkboard technique. My card wasn't accepted for the submission, so I can show it here! I used Picket Fence Distress Stain on some navy cardstock to give that chalkboard look, then embossed the sentiment from the Lawn Fawn set So Much To Say in white. I made a cute 'wood' frame from paper, and cut some Teresa Collins' patterned paper into banners. I think the chalkboard is really cute, and reminds me of the one my son has hanging in his room. Thanks so much for dropping by!

New Stampin Up!
Just sharing two cards I made with some new Stampin' Up! products! The first one uses the Tea For Two dsp, and a paper doily from the spring mini catalog. Regular catalog items is the Sizzix embossing folder, Bitty Banners stamp set, and brand spankin new washi tape!! So glad to see them carrying washi now! The swirl die cut is a movers and shapers die from Tim Holtz.
My second card uses two new Sizzix embossing folders, brand new clear stamp set, and the new to me leaves stamps and Bigz die. I do hope they carry these over to the new catalog! The flowers are from a Sizzix border strip die and also a small paper punch. I have made a scrapbook page too, but haven't taken a picture of it yet. It uses even more new products including more of the clear stamps! Yes, Stampin' Up! has two new clear stamp sets!! Very cool! Check with your demo, or visit mine here! Thanks so much for having a look!

Happiness Tag
Hello, just a quick post to share a tag I made today. I think I will use this on one of my husband's scrapbook pages since it has a manly feel to it. I got my color inspiration from The Play Date Cafe to use Cappuccino, Slate, and Burlap.
I am also linking this up to the Unity Friend's With Flair Day, I used two Unity stamp sets on this, You're The Ticket, and So This is Love. Thanks so much for stopping by!

You Are Awesome!
I always say 'awesome'! So this sentiment from the Lawn Fawn set So Much To Say, is just the perfect greeting for my cards and tags! I paired it up with the flowers in the Lawn Fawn set Mother's Day, and stamped the flowers in different colors to match my patterned paper. I am playing along with the Lawnscaping Challenge, to use embossing on your project.
I accented my card with a strip of cardstock embossed with a Stampin' Up! hexagon embossing folder, love it! All other supplies are from Stampin' Up! as well. Thanks for dropping in, and have a great weekend!

Rock and Roll Butterfly
When I was hopping along the Paper Smooches blog last week, I saw the cutest interactive card I have ever seen by Laura Bassen!! It seemed easy enough to do, so I went for it!! I was inspired by this week's Paper Smooches SPARKS challenge to use butterflies.
I don't have any PS butterfly stamps, so I used two hearts from the Needle Little Love stamp set to make mine. I stamped them onto some Jillibean Soup papers, and cut them out. To add a body, I attached some rhinestones. For the sentiment I used two sentiments from the PS Happy Camper stamp set. Here is a quick video of how Laura put her's together.
And here is my card in action:
Isn't this just the funnest?!! Thanks so much for stopping by and having a look!!
Emboss Resist with Mama Elephant Stamps
I haven't done the emboss resist technique for awhile now, and thought these flower stamps from Mama Elephant would look so pretty done that way! They are from the Lovely Mums stamp set. I embossed the flower with clear powder, then used Wild Honey, Ripe Persimmon, and Festive Berries Distress ink to cover my embossed panel. The thin strip of paper was stamped with the same inks, and the sentiment is from the same set. I used some of my much neglected buttons, and I got my layout from the Mama Elephant Sketch Challenge:
Thank you for looking!!
