Getting ready for Fall

Hello there! Now that my son is in kindergarten, I have more time to play with my stamps! Yay! It is strange not having him here though! So, today I made this card gearing up for fall, that I will have at one of my workshops here. The leaf stamp is an older Stampin Up one that I embossed in clear, then stamped over it with the Ippity Bit of Burlap stamp with Antique Linen DI. Then I used Fired Brick, Wild Honey, and Forest Moss DI over the tag, and splashed some water on it for the spots. I tied a piece of yarn to the top. The card base is embossed with a Cuttlebug folder, and I used Wild Honey and Fired Brick DI over the raised areas. The sentiment is a Unity stamp, and it is in Forest Moss ink, and the edges are in Fired Brick. I used foam squares on the tag and sentiment to lift it off the base. Thanks for looking in today, have a great one!!

My new website!!

I've been working for weeks on my online store website. I believe it is ready to go! I may have to do a few more tweeks to it, but for now it's done! My store is called 'This and That Paper Crafts'. I have a link on my sidebar, and check out the logo/banner! Most all of you know June, from Dezinaworld, well she has designed it for me! Isn't it great?! I would like to ask if you could check my site out, and let me know if it's easy to navigate through, and if the links are working properly. I would appreciate it! I have also set up a store blog, but haven't posted on it yet. That blog will be for projects made with items I sell, and will still post on this blog my regular postings.(which I have neglected lately!) The card above I made with some of the new papers that I offer from Authentique, and Lily Bee Designs. I also have the new Pink Paislee papers released at CHA. I know I don't have alot of followers on my blog here, but I would like your feedback of my new site!! Thanks in advance my blogger friends! More projects to come later, and my digital camera quit working, so I am using my 8 year old one. Sorry for the poor quality pic!

Color Challenge

I am entering a new challenge blog called 2 Sisters Challenge Blog. The link is here. This week they have a color challenge, which I posted a pic of below. I made an easel card with all the colors needed, and a cute Stampin Up stamp from their Greeting Card Kids set. I colored her in with watercolor pencils, and the sentiment is from a Hero Arts set. If you would like to join in, click the link above. Thanks for looking in!

Card-Lift!

Every year I always buy a Stampin Up Idea Book. I love all the cards and projects shown, and get my own ideas from them, or in this case, the same idea! This card is in the front of the catalog, and is almost exact. The pear stamp is an Ippity one that I double stamped, and colored in with wild honey and forest moss distress inks. I stamped on top of it with antique linen and my words background stamp. I used a swirls cuttlebug embossing folder for the card base, and coordinations textured white paper. The white dots by the half circles is my white gelly roll pen. In the SU catalog they used mini pearls, which I have none of. Even though I sell Ippity stamps by Unity Stamp Co., I must admit I still love the SU idea book! Shhhh!! Thank You for looking in today!
