Rose Red meets the New Blackberry Bliss!!

Ooooo, what a pretty color combination I have found! The brand new In Color, Blackberry Bliss goes so well with the current Rose Red!! I just love the rich, yet pretty combo they make! Now, Rose Red is a color I barely use, but I'm taking quite a liking to it, and will have to use it more! I stamped the leaves with Pistachio Pudding, and it is from the retiring stamp set Wonderfall. The sentiment is from the current Teeny Tiny Wishes set. On Monday, after 12:00, the new 2014-2015 catalog goes live!!!!! I totally can't wait, as it is jam packed with all sorts of awesome new products! Lots of clear(photopolymer) stamps, new ribbons, papers, kits galore, Project Life, dies, and of course the rubber stamps! I'm so excited to share these with all of you!!
Thanks so much for stopping by, and have yourself a wonderful weekend!!

Happy Memorial Day!

Today is Memorial Day in the States, and it is a time to remember all those who have given and still give their life for our country. Thank You! My family doesn't have much of a military history. My Great Uncle, who is still alive, was a P.O.W. in the Korean War. And that's pretty much it. So, I can't ever say that I know how it feels to have lost someone who has served. But my thoughts will always be here for those that have.
This is my Memorial Day card. Made with the good ol' Red, White, and Blue. I clear embossed the Petite Petals images, then punched them out, and popped them up with dimensionals. The sentiment is from the Simply Sketched hostess set. A few rhinestones for sparkle completed this card. Thank you for having a look today, and enjoy all those cookouts with friends and family!!

Petite Petals

I have two cards to share today that use the new upcoming In Colors from Stampin' Up! This first card uses my favorite color, Lost Lagoon. It's a lovely blue/green. I stamped one flower with this color, and used it as leaves for the Blackberry Bliss stamped/punched flowers from the Petite Petals set. The little dots for the background was made by using the tiny cap from the Stampin Pierce tool. I put the cap into the ink, and stamped on the paper.
This card uses the new In Color Mossy Meadow. A pretty mossy green. I stamped the leaves from the Simply Sketched Hostess set that is still available for only a couple more weeks. Then I punched the flowers from the new Hello Honey, and added some pearls. The sentiments on both cards come from the Teen Tiny Wishes stamp set.
That's it from me today! Thanks so much for visiting!!

Strawberry Slush meets the Top Note Die

Hello, and happy Monday!! I have a cute purse gift package to share today. I have made a few different versions of the Top Note Purse over the last couple of years, but haven't made one like this before. And I wanted to make it with the Strawberry Slush card stock and dsp. The bottom part of the purse is a simple box, and did a little stamping with the Petite Petals stamp set. The flap is made from two Top Note die cuts, and is glued to the back side. Here is a view showing the handle, which is made of twine.
The flap is held closed by a small velcro dot that I picked up at a fabric store. And I added a few punched flowers from the new punch pack that will be in the new catalog!!
I hope you like my sweet purse gift package! Thanks so much for having a look!!

I am happy to share the new upcoming In Colors that Stampin Up will release on June 2!! They are a rich and elegant group of In Colors, and I have used all but one on this card. The ribbon is new as well, and is so soft, I love it! The flower stamps come from the Petite Petals set, and is in the current catalog, and will be carried over into the new one. The sentiment is from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set, and is also current, and in the new catalog. I hope you like the new colors! I think the Lost Lagoon(blue/green) color is my favorite!! Simply Sketched

I haven't posted since Friday!! It's been a little busy here the last few days, and I've worked a few more hours than usual, but I have a pretty card to share tonight! It uses the stamp set called Simply Sketched, and it is a hostess set which is only available until the end of May. I used Pistachio Pudding for the leaves and card base, and Real Red and Garden Green for the flower. I left it uncolored, and think it looks pretty that way. The sentiment is from the same set, and is stamped with Chocolate Chip. There is an embossed panel behind the stamped one, but it isn't visible much in the photo. A little bit of white baker's twine tied around finishes it off. Thank you so much for stopping by!!

Birthday Wishes

Hi there! Today's card share uses two of the retiring In Colors, Midnight Muse, and Gumball Green. I love the two colors paired together with Crumb Cake. All of the stamped images come from the also retiring Pennant Parade stamp set. I think the stars down the one side add a festive feel to this possibly 'manly' card. I punched out the banner shapes with it's coordinating punch, which will be staying in the new catalog.
Thanks for stopping by for a look, and have a great weekend!!!!
