A Market Street Christmas!

Hello! I'm still working away with my Christmas cards, and have made this one with 3 different Market Street Stamp sets. The new set called Ornaments, Woodland, and Life is Beautiful! To get the ornament shape, I punched a large circle and used the negative as a mask. I stamped the images inside the circle with various colors of inks, then used Antique Linen distress ink around the edges to make it stand out. I then colored the ornament hanger with a marker and stamped it on top, colored it in, then used some stickles for sparkle. I hope you like it! I am entering this to the Simon Says Stamp Challenge where the theme is Anything Goes. Thanks for stopping in!

A Thank You

I made this little Thank You note card to send off with a stamp that someone bought from me at Splitcoast Stampers. I always try to include some type of card to send to buyers, and with all my fall/Thanksgiving cards done, I went with a Christmas theme. The tree image stamp is from Inkadinkado, sentiment from Unity, red plaid paper from K&Company, and cardstock from Bazzill that I won from my good blogging friend Emily(thank you!) I am entering this card to the Simon Says Stamp and Show where the theme is Thank You. Thanks for stopping by and taking a look!!

A Vintage Christmas

When it comes to decorating for the holidays, my house gets missed!! I just do not have the knack for decorating at all!! But my mother on the other hand, goes all out! Her style is much like the vintage image of this card, colors and all! So this one will be mailed to her! The image is called Christmas Carols, and is from The Paper Shelter. They have the most beautiful digital images! This one is only $3.00 and comes already colored, an outline image to color, the colored image with background, and just the background! Talk about an awesome value!! I chose to use the image already colored with the background, I used lots of paper punches and die cuts to dress up this easel card. The sentiment is computer generated, and dressed it up by layering punched labels. I am sending this to The Paper Shelter challenge blog where the theme is an easel card with a Christmas theme. You don't have to use their images to enter, but if you do, you have a chance of winning $30.00 worth of images!!!!!! Thank you for stopping in to have a look!

A Basket of Leaves

I saw this cute basket with leaves on Splitcoast Stampers, I believe, and thought it was the cutest! So I gave it a try. The basket itself was made from a Stampin Up Sizzix lines embossing folder, with strips of paper for the 'banding'. The leaves and acorn(which my son calls coconuts!!) I cut out with my Cricut using the cartridges Stretch Your Imagination and Give a Hoot. Then I embossed them with two different Cuttlebug embossing folders for texture. All of the cardstock is from Stampin Up, which cuts wonderfully on my Cricut Create!! And the only stamping(other than sponging the leaves), is my sentiment which is from Unity. I am sending this card to the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge blog where their theme is Fall Harvest-to use leaves on your project. And also to Unity's Friends with Flair day (for my wee stamping of the sentiment), which I haven't participated in for some time now! Thanks for dropping by, and have a fun weekend!!

A Purple Kind of Winter!

The title sounds odd I know, but what the heck, instead of blues and browns for winter, how about some purples?!! I got my inspiration from The Play Date Cafe for their color challenge this week.
Isn't that pretty!! I used lots of die cuts and Unity stamps on this card, and shockingly, I decorated the inside!! LOL
This card is going to be sent to Vera Yates(Ling) for her Caring Hearts card drive, where she is collecting cards to give to the elderly at nursing homes. Here is a link to her blog with all the info if you would like to donate some handmade holiday/seasonal cards! Thank you for stopping by and having a look!

A Thank You

I had signed up for an ornament swap a few months ago, and have now received the ornaments that someone has made for me. I made this card for her to Thank her for the things that she made! I got my inspiration from the Chick Challenges with {ippity} for this sketch challenge.(this is their last challenge too!)
I used two {ippity} stamp sets on this card, The Simple Things(berries and leaves), and Regal Greetings(sentiment). The red dsp is digital paper I printed from Stampin Up. A perfectly themed Thank You card! I am also sending this card to The Crafter's Cafe where they want to see a Thank You. And, thank you for stopping by!!

Harvest Blessings

Thought I would switch gears from my Christmas cards to a Thanksgiving one. I cut the ovals from my Creative Memories oval patterns in 2 sizes. I sponged on Vintage Photo DI for shading, and cut out 2 Tim Holtz mini flourish Sizzix M&S die cuts for vines. The sentiment actually comes from a Unity/Jillibean Soup Christmas stamp set that I only inked the word Blessings with my Stampin Write marker, then paper punched it out. The back of the card is just another oval that I scored on one side only so it would open correctly. And I got lucky that the card sits upright and not tip to one side or the other!! I also made sure that this would fit into an A2 size envelope, perfect for mailing!! I am sending this card off to the Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog where the theme is Get In Shape, make a shaped card. Thanks so much for stopping in!!
