I had the pleasure of watching another Stampin' Up! demo make these sweet little tea light gift boxes, and thought they would make perfect hostess gifts, so off I went to make a few! The original tutorial is here.
I've used Crumb Cake card stock for the box and gold glimmer, soft suede, and coastal cabana for the punched shapes. The band around the middle is Very Vanilla satin ribbon. A quick little project, love that!!
This past Saturday was my one year anniversary that I joined Stampin' Up! as a demonstrator! The time sure has gone fast! I have enjoyed sharing all the projects made with a company that I have chosen to represent. I thank you all for visiting me this past year, and for all your support! I'm looking forward to see what the next year brings!!
Thank you for stopping by my little site on the web, have a great day!!

I Love Lace Background Stamp
So, I just got the I Love Lace background stamp, and now wonder why I didn't order it sooner! It's Gorgeous!! The pretty delicate lace with dainty flowers looks so much like the real thing!
I inked it with Wisteria Wonder, and attached it to a Strawberry Slush card base. I punched the butterflies with Blackberry Bliss and Hello Honey. The sentiment is from the same Sale-A-Bration set I shared yesterday, Simply Wonderful, and stamped it to match the card base.
I can see using this pretty background stamp to punch out shapes with too, the butterflies, labels, flowers. Will be having a play with it for sure!
Thank you for visiting, and have a wonderful weekend!!

Bag in a Box using Irresistibly Yours Specialty Designer Series Paper
There is only a few days left to take advantage of Stampin' Up!'s Sale-A-Bration!! I have one last video to share using some of the free products!
The Specialty Designer Series Paper has so many possibilities when coloring it! In the video I share how I used four different inks on mine. I went for a soft Spring or Easter colors. The picture above looks a little washed out, but in the video they are a bit brighter.
Thanks so much for having a look!

Reverse Stamping with Sheltering Tree
I always forget about the reverse stamping until I see someone do it!! Stampin' Up! released videos from the last Leadership Conference, and a stamping sample showed this technique. So, of course I had to do it!!
You use the back side of the photopolymer stamp to get a solid image first, like I did with the top of the tree. I inked it in Pear Pizzazz, then stamped off on a piece of scrap, then stamped onto my card front. It gives a light background to the tree, then you flip the stamp to it's correct way, and stamp again. The leaves stand out, and makes the tree look much fuller! Love this look!
The overall layout idea came from my upline Holly, but I added the swing image to it, and curved it a bit to make it seem in motion. I'll have to try and remember this technique now, and see what other stamps I can use this on!

Chalkboard Paper Birthday Card
I got out the newly released chalkboard paper to make a pretty floral focal point. I first die cut it with the Deco Framelits. Then I used a few stamp sets to decorate the outer part. Simply Sketched(retired hostess), Flower Shop, Petite Petals and Choose Happiness. I inked them with the new chalk inks as well. The sentiment is from the Simply Sketched set, and it is inked with Craft Whisper White.
I used a black card base, and dsp from the All Abloom stack. It's hard to tell in the photo, but the dsp is mint green to match our Pistachio Pudding color. It looks better in real life! :)
I didn't want to add any embellishments to keep the focus on the chalkboard die cut. I think my Mom would like this card, but will have to keep this till September!!
Thank you for having a look!!

Lamb Punch Art
Hi there! Today I have a sweet little lamb punch art to share. Years ago I made a similar one, but with different punches, and even some hand cut shapes. But since my punch collection has grown since then, I'm able to make this version!
It was very simple to put together, the longest part of it all was deciding on how long to make it's body. I just kept adding punched shapes until it looked good!
I attached it to a 3x3 card base, and stamped the greeting from the Crazy About You set. I'll put this in my son's Easter Basket!
Here are the punches I used:
7/8" Scalloped Circle-for body
Boho Blossoms-for body
Small Oval-for head
Bird Builder-leafy stem for ears
Word Window-for legs(cut in half lengthwise)
Thanks for having a look, and have a great weekend!!

Baby We've Grown and My Digital Studio
Hello! Today I have a card that I made the cute bunny in Stampin' Up!'s My Digital Studio. It was just announced that all of the digital content that Stampin' Up! offers will no longer be available after May 31st. I give info on that in the video.
I wanted this set only for the bunny image, so that's why I bought the digital version of it. It's so adorable, and I wanted to make some Easter cards with it!
You will still be able to use and print from home, any images and projects through My Digital Studio, once the line has been discontinued. And other print services will also create and print the scrapbooks, so it's still not a total loss!
Anyway, I talk more about it in the video:

Raggedy Ann Punch Art Card
I still love the raggedy ann dolls. I remember the one I had when I was little, and I even bought another one as an adult! :) Anyway, I first saw this on Pinterest. It was pinned from an auction site selling card kits. I just had to make her!!
The main card is cut using the circle framelits. The largest circle is a scallop, and I used a folded piece of card , and didn't cut the full circle so I could have a fold at the top. A scallop circle punch for her bit of bangs, along side the bow from the bow builder punch.
Circle punches for her eyes, tree punch for her nose, and I had to add a tiny heart for her lips from the heart border punch. Her smile and eyelashes/brows were hand drawn.
This card would be perfect for any Girl, young or older!! I know I'd love to receive it!! :)

Stampin' Up! Flashback
I went through my supplies awhile ago and gave away a bunch of stuff that I hadn't used in a long time. My friends were happy to receive my unused papers, stamps, inks and such. I met a fellow demonstrator through one of my friends, and she gave me this retired stamp set as a trade. I never did have this stamp set, and I think the skunk is just adorable!!
I paired her up with all current supplies, All Abloom designer paper, bakers twine, Deco Framelits, and a couple punches.
I'm always happy to give, but I'm very happy to have received this set, so Thank You Crissy!
Thanks as always for stopping by, and have a wonderful weekend!!

Fun With Punch Art
Been having fun with my punches again! This fun stamped face is from Peachy Keen stamps. I haven't used them since joining Stampin' Up! but they are just too cute, and SU! doesn't have anything like this.
A simple build, with a circle and scalloped circle punch. Tiny rhinestone earrings, and I did blend the lips and mouth with the blender pen.
The letters were die cut with the Little Letter Framelits, and added to the die cut polaroid frame using square framelits.
The inside is blank, which most of my cards are. Once in awhile I will add a little stamped image to match, or small pieces of designer paper.
Thank you for having a look, have a great day!!

Paper Treat Purse Video Tutorial
Hey there! Today I'm sharing this video tutorial on a larger treat purse than one's I have previously made. It uses one sheet of 8 1/2" x 11" card stock. The purses I've made before are very small. Big enough to hold two smarties sweet tarts. This one is much larger, but not too big! Enjoy the video, measurements are below, and at the bottom I'm sharing a peak into my craft space!
Measurements:
8 1/2" x 8 1/2" card stock
score one side at 1/2", 3 1/2", 5", 8"
turn and score at 1 3/4", 6 3/4" while card stock is in this position, make a pencil mark on the left side at 1 1/4" and 6 3/4" repeat on the opposite side
Designer Series Paper cut at 4 1/2" x 2"
I have been struggling for months trying to get my tripod positioned to where I can film myself from my point of view. A few videos back, my electrical taped extension pole started to fall while filming. After that I took the pole off. Then I had to start filming upside down, then flipping it in the video editor. Well, that was taking WAY too much time. It takes at least an hour just to upload a video to YouTube anyway, then to have to wait on the flipping took even longer.
So today I set out to solve this problem. With a few failed attempts, this is what I have come up with:

Does this look like a total rig job hanging from the ceiling? Of course it does! Is it working? Of course it is!!!!! Lucky for me, we have these terrible drop ceilings all through the house. But today it worked to my advantage. I'm still using my tripod, just in a whole new way! LOL But, I can sit at my table and film myself the way I want to. Problem solved!! I'm still using the converted closet for my craft space, I love having everything right in front of me. I have painted since the last photo I shared. It's much lighter here now! And yes, I didn't bother cleaning my work table. This is what it looks like most of the time, so why picture it any differently!!! :)
Thanks so much for stopping by today, I hope you enjoyed the video, and my craft space!!

Long Matchbook
I haven't made a matchbook style gift for quite some time, and when I saw a fellow demonstrator make these longer ones, I just had to make a few. Very simple to put together, but I love the stamping on these.
I've used crumb cake card stock, and stamped in white craft ink the flowering flourishes stamp. It gives a soft subtle look to it. A few punched layers behind the sentiment makes it stand out, and the pretty gold glimmer paper!
I added the gold infused bakers twine at the bottom, and it also hides the staple, which keeps the bottom closed. Here is the inside:
That's all for me today, thanks for stopping by!

Irresistibly Yours DSP and Butterfly Punches
The irresistibly yours embossed paper is so fun to create with, there is so many different looks you can get. This time I sponged Pistachio Pudding and Pear Pizzazz ink to give it that gradient look. Then I stamped the tiny flowers from the Sheltering Tree all around.
These are my two new butterfly punches. I stamped card stock, then punched and layered them together. I like how they look this way. The sentiment is from the Four You set and is layered into a banner. Punched banners were also added below.
There are a few large pearls scattered about, and of course I had to add some Old Olive twine.
I like how this card turned out, it's very soft and girly. I'm taking a whole lot of my cards to work for the girls to look through and take. I make so many, there is no way I would ever come close to sending them all out!! But, I can't stop making them!! :)
Thank you for stopping by today!
