Gift Boxes
I wanted to share some gift boxes I made and mailed out to some of my friends with little goodies tucked inside. These are backpacks that I learned how to make from my trusty source YouTube! The little pocket on the front is a Paper Smooches Die and holds a little note. I made two other ones, but did not photograph them before mailing them off!
I want to thank you all for visiting me throughout this year, and leaving comments on my projects! I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year!

Pop Up Card for Mom
Today I am sharing the card I made to send to my Mom. Yes, my cards aren't mailed yet! Good thing they only take a day to deliver!! :) So last year I made her an easel card, and thought a pop up card was in order. I've had all the Sizzix Pop n Cuts dies on my want list, and they are still there....on my want list! So this is just a simple pop up that I added my own elements to the hand cut inserts. The first pic is the card front which I decorated with Jillibean Soup elements. And this is the inside:
More JS papers and some glittered thickers for the sentiment, which I had to arrange about five times for it to fit!!
And here is a close up of the pop ups:
Better get my envelopes addressed now!! Thank you for stopping by today!

Skating By.....To Say Hi!
Hello! Today starts a new challenge at The Stamping Boutique!! This time the challenge is to Paper Piece, or Paper Pierce!! I chose to paper pierce. I colored in this Stamping Boutique image called KK Skating with my Spectrum Noir markers, paper pierced around her with a template, and then cut it out. The polka dot paper is from Echo Park, card stock from Stampin Up, and paper punches for the snowflakes. You do not have to use The Stamping Boutique images to play along with our challenges, but of course we love to see them! :) Thanks for stopping by!

Lawn Fawn
Hello to you! Today's card I have made to enter into the Lawn Fawn catalog challenge for the upcoming CHA show! The category this card goes into is the ABC's set. I stamped the whole sheet(minus a row for sentiment) from the Jessie's ABC's as it is on the plastic storage sheet with Hero Arts White Dye Ink onto black card stock. I then stamped the sentiment from the Lawn Fawn set So Much to Say with Versamark, and embossed it in white to make it stand out a little more than the chalkboard look alphabet background. The card base is a darker green that is hard to see in the photos. The sun is shining very brightly today(not complaining!) so it has washed out my pics a bit. Thank you for stopping by and checking out my card!

Christmas Owls
Just wanted to share the card I made for my challenge blog, Just Punch It. The theme I have set this time is to make any Christmas punch art. I used the Owl Builder Punch from Stampin Up, and dressed up my owls in their Christmas outfits. I gave the one some 'antlers' with a snowflake punch to put him in the festive mood! I have a 6x6 paper pad from Jillibean Soup as the prize this time if you would like to join along! Thank you for stopping by, and have a great weekend!

New Challenge at The Stamping Boutique!
Hello, and Happy December!! We have a brand new challenge starting today at The Stamping Boutique!! This time we have a recipe to follow, how fun! You will need to use 1 Digi image, 3 Embellishments, and Stickles or Glitter! For my card I used Audrey the Farmer Sitting, and Wooden Bench. I printed, colored, and fussy cut both images from water color paper. I glued only Audrey's bottom to the bench, to make it look more realistic. She has rhinestone's on her hair bows and one on her knee patch. The glittered butterfly is a Design Adhesive from Clearsnap, which you apply to your paper then add the glitter. Some fringed grass, an embossed and die cut tree/leaves gave her the perfect park scene! I hope you can make our challenge, as you could win some free digi stamps from The Stamping Boutique! Thank you for stopping by!

Before and After
Well, my living room project is done! And I couldn't be more happy! Last Friday I picked out some pretty textured 'wood rose' wallpaper and started hanging it right away, and finished the room on Sunday. All by myself I hung this paper. Sounds bold, but I have never put wallpaper up alone!! So here is a picture of the before in case you missed it:
Terrible I know! :) And here is the after:
And a couple more angles:
The picture with the fan in the window looks odd, but this window looks into our breezeway which was once a porch. Someone just left the window intact when they enclosed the porch. And the fan is used to blow heat into the house from our wood burner out there. Works like a charm!
Here is one more up close pic of the texture on this paper. It really covers up the 5 layers of uneven paper underneath! So all I need now is some new furniture!!! Keep dreaming Pam!! lol
Thanks for stopping in to have a look, and a Happy Thanksgiving to you all!

Best Day
Hello, and Happy Friday! Today's card was inspired by one I saw on Thursday's blog hop over on the Unity blog. I love how the sentiment in black is the main focal point, with a little bit of color with the MME papers. I used a sentiment from the Unity kit SO this is LOVE. I am joining in with the Friends with Flair day on the Unity blog.
My internet hasn't been working too well this week, but I think I have all the bugs worked out of it! I actually did some sewing yesterday!! I have one more curtain to make for the kitchen, and our house will have all new ones! Am off to check out some wallpaper today to finish our living room makeover. Wish me luck! :)
Thanks for dropping by!

I put a piece of vellum over the sentiment to soften it a bit. My layout came from the Seems a Little Sketchy challenge for this sketch:

Fabulous Friend
Hello, and a happy day to you! I finally got a little crafting time in this morning before work! I used some new an older Stampin Up stamps to make this. The little girl I colored with my Pro Markers, which blended quite well on this cardstock I got at a local store, which sells paper by the pound. Quite pleased! The circle die cuts are from Spellbinders, and the sentiment has it's own Framelit die by Sizzix. The patterned paper is from My Mind's Eye. I would like to send this over to The Crafter's Cafe, where the challenge is Friends. Thank you so much for having a look!
