Emboss Resist with Mama Elephant Stamps

I haven't done the emboss resist technique for awhile now, and thought these flower stamps from Mama Elephant would look so pretty done that way! They are from the Lovely Mums stamp set. I embossed the flower with clear powder, then used Wild Honey, Ripe Persimmon, and Festive Berries Distress ink to cover my embossed panel. The thin strip of paper was stamped with the same inks, and the sentiment is from the same set. I used some of my much neglected buttons, and I got my layout from the Mama Elephant Sketch Challenge:
Thank you for looking!!

Wow, this is so pretty. I really want to try the emboss resist technique, but I never have. Any tips? Also, what tool do you use to blend your distress inks so seamlessly? Thanks! :)

Thanks Tina! I use Tim Holtz's blending tool and blending foam. I think that works best for me rather than sponges, and it will work with any dye ink too!
