Happy Friday! Today I am joining the linky party on the Unity blog for their Friends with Flair Day, which is a day to show off your Unity Stamp creations! This card uses the Donna Downey kit called Imagine It, which I won from a Unity Thursday blog hop. I wanted to showcase the stamp images only, because they are large gorgeous images!! I only used sage ink on the tree, and kept everything else black and white. It gives a crisp clean look, with focus only on the stamping. I did use my marker spritzer to spray on a few patches of black alcohol ink from my ProMarker. Thanks so much for stopping by, and enjoy the FWF hop!!

Best Wishes
Hey there! I have a card to share today that I made from the inspiration of the Mama Elephant Photo Inspiration challenge with this photo:
I was inspired by the roses and the pretty pink colors. I started by stamping the rose stamps from the Mama Elephant stamp set called Lovely Mums, randomly onto white card stock. I then used my circle cutter to find a pleasing arrangement. I thought it needed something extra, so I used my glue pen around the edge, and added some pretty glitter. I die cut the white circle, then embossed it with a dot pattern to resemble the pretty beaded purse in the photo. I layered all this onto a stamped card base using the same flower stamp, with Strawberry Slush card stock. The sentiment stamp is from the ME Filigree set, that I stamped in the same color ink, then punched it out. It needed some bling so I added a few rhinestones, then some matching ruffled trim and white twine. I think this card would be perfect for a wedding, or bridal shower. Thanks so much for having a look!

Camera Valentine
Hey there friends! I have a card to share that I made for my challenge blog, where I have a new theme starting Monday which is Valentine's! Click on the Just Punch It badge on my sidebar! I made this card with my Stampin Up punch board! Isn't it fun!! To make this card I cut a piece of card stock 4 1/4" x 11" Scored it at 5 1/2" and folded to make a card base. Put the card base into the punch board with the fold on your left and the 5 1/2" inch side at the top. Punch at the 2 1/2" and 4 3/4" marks. Trim off each end beyond the 'tab' created, and round the corners in the punch board. I used two circle punches for the lens, 2 1/2" and 1 3/8" I stamped the background, added some fun silver glimmer paper, a heart punch, and a rhinestone. The sentiment I made using the Jessie's ABC's from Lawn Fawn. How fun to give to any girl of any age?! I've made 3 of these so far!! Even one for my husband, in manly colors of course! :) Thanks for having a look!

Steamin' Hot!
Isn't that sentiment fun?! Hello, and happy Friday! Today I have a card to share that I made for The Alley Way Stamps BE Inspired Challenge. Here is the inspirational photo:
I was inspired by the colors, cups, and the stripes! The image I used is a free digi stamp from The Alley Way Stamps, and it's matching sentiment. I colored the mug in with my Spectrum markers, then added some glossy accents to the steam and heart. I added some stitching, and twine(which I love to use!), and added an embossed striped panel, and striped patterned paper. You can check the link out above if you would like to be inspired! :) Thank you for stopping in today!

More Valentines
I have some more Valentine cards to share that I have been making. The first one I made, and submitted to CARDS magazine, but wasn't picked up. It has lots of stitching, die cuts and pretty patterned papers. The sentiment is from a Mama Elephant stamp set.
This one is very CAS. I decided to use some supplies that have lying around for a long time! The chipboard letters were covered with 2 coats of Picket Fence Distress Stain, then I covered them with the Pearl mixatives that I bought to go with the Alcohol ink(that I never use!). The sentiment and the hearts down the one side are from a Paper Smooches set. Here is a close up of the pearly letters, I really like how they look!
And this last one I made for Holly's online class challenge. All Stampin Up supplies.
Well, thanks for stopping by and having a look at what I've been up to!

Winter Sparkle
I can't believe it's been a week since I last posted! So much for getting more projects blogged! lol Here is a card I made for my Stampin Up Demo, Holly's, online class. All products are from Stampin Up. The two colors of blue and a bit of sparkle from the silver really makes a perfect winter card! You can check her info page about her online class here. It just started Monday, and runs for two weeks! I will be back Thursday to post some more projects! Been working on some Jillibean Soup projects for their Design Team call, but I can't share them yet!! Thank you for stopping by!

Little Birdie
Hey there! Today I am sharing a card I made with an older My Sentiments Exactly stamp set called Little Birdie. My Sentiments Exactly Ltd. is relaunching their company, so in celebration, I made this card! Way back before I had a blog, I followed along with Adrienne Kennedy creating videos every week on her 'Watch Me Wednesday' posts. She still has them posted, and you can find them here. I learned a lot from watching her videos! She would always use a lot of Basic Grey products, so I incorporated a little in this card. The paper the birdie is stamped on is my much hoarded Basic Grey Manila 6x6 pad! The other two patterned papers are from My Mind's Eye. I added a rhinestone to his eye, and a few on the bottom of the card. I would like to enter this to The Crafter's Cafe Challenge Blog where the theme is Bling It On! Thank you for stopping by!

Valentine
A Valentine themed project is our new challenge at The Stamping Boutique, go check it out and see what we have all created! I decided to make a side step card. My first one! The image I used is called Valentine Background. I colored this one with my ProMarkers this time. When I printed this image off, I didn't have an idea yet. For this side step card it needed to be a bit smaller, so I had to trim a little on each side of my image to fit. I will remember that next time! Although a larger image is much easier to color!! :) The letters are again my new dies from Lawn Fawn(love!). Some Stampin Up dsp, and a punched border at the bottom with red rhinestones finished it for me. Thank you for stopping by!

Funny Snowman
Hello! Today's card share I made for my Challenge blog. I have a new theme which is snow. You can check it out by clicking on the link at my sidebar! I started by blending some Night Quite Navy ink with my blending tool onto white card stock. I die cut the snowy hills with a Paper Smooches die, and inked the edges. I punched two circles, and decided this snowman wanted to be topsy turvy! His face was stamped with a Peachy Keen side faces stamp. His hat is an upside down heart punch, with a strip of black for the brim. The snowballs sign is an older Stampin Up one, and I punched some 1/4" white circles to cover the stamped snowballs. The sentiment is from a Unity Itty Bitty. The small snowflakes is from a BoBunny stamp set. Quite the variety of supplies, but he's so fun!! Thanks so much for taking a look!!

Happy Birthday!
Hello, and a happy day to you!!! Over the past few months(or more!) I have not made many projects to enter into the challenge blogs I follow. I have missed it. So a fresh new year is the perfect time for me to get to posting more!! Today's card share I made for the much missed Lawnscaping Challenge. They are celebrating the start of their fourth year of challenges, and have of course a Birthday theme to go by!!!
So onto my card! I used the new goodies that my Christmas money bought on this! The papers are from the Lawn Fawn Into the Woods collection. The dies are from Quinn's ABC's, now I have the coordinating stamp set too, and played around with the stamping on them. But in the end I left them as a die cut only. The little balloons are from the Lawn Fawn So Much to Say stamp set that I colored and fussy cut out. I have a picture tutorial below of how I die cut the birthday sentiment, the woodgrain paper is all one piece.

The little balloons are from the Lawn Fawn So Much to Say stamp set that I colored and fussy cut out. I have a picture tutorial below of how I die cut the birthday sentiment, the woodgrain paper is all one piece.
Start by lining up your letters onto the paper. I held mine down with washi. The magnetic base for my BigKick is SO on my wishlist! :) With a cutting plate on the bottom, then paper, dies, then put the top cutting plate just off the bottom of the dies as you see here. Then roll it through your machine. This was my first attempt, and ended up cutting four of the eight letters off!!
Second attempt, perfect!! The line you see is from a pencil so I could get my letters straight!
Now start trimming off the patterned paper in between the letters, making sure not to cut them off. Erase the pencil lines, and your done! A white drafting eraser is the only one I use, and removes any pencil marks without messing up or smearing your paper. Just my tip for you! I used dimensionals on the back of this piece to make it stand out on my card. So that's my tutorial for you! Give it a try, it's really easy and makes it look so cool! And can be used on any die image!!Thank you so much for stopping by today!!

The Most Adorable Panda
That is the name of this cute image from The Paper Shelter, The Most Adorable Panda. Isn't it just the cutest?!! I colored him in with my Spectrum markers. The patterned papers I used are from Lawn Fawn, and the sentiment stamp is from Unity. I am entering this card to The Paper Shelter's challenge which is Winter Birthday's with sentiment, and you must also use the cool color palette. Thank you for stopping by!!

My crafting space
Hello! I thought I would share what my crafting space is like with all of you. This is the 4th room I have been in since we moved here in 2008! And it is my favorite. This used to be a large closet that had only one door to the right side. It wasn't very useful, so I tore it all down, and moved my stuff into it!
The shelves on the back wall are laminate flooring that I used shelf brackets under them for support. I have lots on these shelves, punches, stamps, dies, sticker makers, ribbon, buttons. I am about to go to the hardware store and buy some steel tubing to hang my punches on, as the wooden dowel rod is not working!! Under my table is where I keep my 12x12 papers, and all my card stock.
To the left of my chair is my sewing machine, and storage under it for lots of cards, and my small scrapbooks in progress. The next little table has magazines, large scrapbooks, more cards, and my pink freebie pouch for my challenge blog!!
The shelf to the left holds my Stampin Up inks, embossing powders, wood stamps, stamp wheels, heat tool, glue gun, and some misc stuff.
This picture was taken while sitting in my chair. I love that everything is within my reach. I don't have to get up and down a hundred times getting supplies. And the stuff on the table that is in sight is always there, scissors, glue, papers, dimensionals, washi, and twine. The items I use most never get put away somewhere, and I'm fine with that!
This is to the right of me. My Sizzix die tower still holds ink pads. These are all distress inks, and the back side has Versafine, Stazon and such. My Spectrum Noir markers are sadly on a shelf piled up. For sure need a storage rack for them!
This is another area that needs some work, my dies! I just ordered an Art Bin magnetic storage container for my Spellbinders and Sizzix framelits, so they will have the perfect home, but the embossing folders, quickutz, and movers and shapers need a home. The wood shelf to the left is an old pop/soda bottle crate. And it works great for paints and stamp cleaners.
This table is to the right side of me, and is my die cut area. The two wood bins to the back hold 6x6 and 8x8 paper. And I have displayed here some paper crafts that my crafting friends have sent me. As well as a few things I have made.
And the very last picture is my son's work space. This is what my space usually looks like, stuff everywhere!! :)
I hope you've enjoyed seeing into the space where I create!! Thank you for having a look!

Kissing Bears
With my Spectrum Noir markers just waiting to color something, I decided to join The Crafter's Cafe challenge this week which is Animal Friends. I did the reverse stamping technique for the darker colored bear, by stamping him onto a large clear background stamp, then stamp that onto my card stock. I had to use a black fine tip marker around him after I colored it to make him stand out a little more. But I love this technique, and could be used on any image! This stamp set is retired, and I'm not real sure of the maker, it's either MFT or PTI. I don't have the original package. The sentiment is from a clear Hero Arts set. My son (who is 7) also wanted to play along, and here is what he made:
He even made an easel for the back, completely his idea, and I didn't help at all!
So cute! Thank you for stopping by!!

Stamping Time!!
I finally got some time to play in my craft room, after a couple of weeks not doing so! I also broke out my Paper Smooches stamps, and am playing along with their Sparks challenge, which is Anything Goes!
I haven't played along with them for awhile, and have missed it! I used one Paper Smooches stamp set on this card called Crystal Clear. I also used a PS die from the Borders One set for the bottom of the stamped panel. I stamped the ball stamp in different colors to fill the jar image. They could be gumballs or bouncy balls! I added a few highlights to them with a white gel pen. Some orange twine from American Crafts filled in the space at the top. Thanks for stopping by today!
