Chalkboard Paper Birthday Card

I got out the newly released chalkboard paper to make a pretty floral focal point. I first die cut it with the Deco Framelits. Then I used a few stamp sets to decorate the outer part. Simply Sketched(retired hostess), Flower Shop, Petite Petals and Choose Happiness. I inked them with the new chalk inks as well. The sentiment is from the Simply Sketched set, and it is inked with Craft Whisper White.

I used a black card base, and dsp from the All Abloom stack. It's hard to tell in the photo, but the dsp is mint green to match our Pistachio Pudding color. It looks better in real life! :)

I didn't want to add any embellishments to keep the focus on the chalkboard die cut. I think my Mom would like this card, but will have to keep this till September!!

Thank you for having a look!!
