Paper Treat Purse Video Tutorial

Hey there! Today I'm sharing this video tutorial on a larger treat purse than one's I have previously made. It uses one sheet of 8 1/2" x 11" card stock. The purses I've made before are very small. Big enough to hold two smarties sweet tarts. This one is much larger, but not too big! Enjoy the video, measurements are below, and at the bottom I'm sharing a peak into my craft space!

Measurements:
8 1/2" x 8 1/2" card stock
score one side at 1/2", 3 1/2", 5", 8"
turn and score at 1 3/4", 6 3/4" while card stock is in this position, make a pencil mark on the left side at 1 1/4" and 6 3/4" repeat on the opposite side
Designer Series Paper cut at 4 1/2" x 2"

I have been struggling for months trying to get my tripod positioned to where I can film myself from my point of view. A few videos back, my electrical taped extension pole started to fall while filming. After that I took the pole off. Then I had to start filming upside down, then flipping it in the video editor. Well, that was taking WAY too much time. It takes at least an hour just to upload a video to YouTube anyway, then to have to wait on the flipping took even longer.

So today I set out to solve this problem. With a few failed attempts, this is what I have come up with:
Does this look like a total rig job hanging from the ceiling? Of course it does! Is it working? Of course it is!!!!! Lucky for me, we have these terrible drop ceilings all through the house. But today it worked to my advantage. I'm still using my tripod, just in a whole new way! LOL But, I can sit at my table and film myself the way I want to. Problem solved!! I'm still using the converted closet for my craft space, I love having everything right in front of me. I have painted since the last photo I shared. It's much lighter here now! And yes, I didn't bother cleaning my work table. This is what it looks like most of the time, so why picture it any differently!!! :)

Thanks so much for stopping by today, I hope you enjoyed the video, and my craft space!!

The video is wonderful and I love your little treat purses! I would be screaming for my hubby to make something, but then I would tell him what I want! LOL!
