Sharing a journal page with the help from Try It On Tuesday's theme 'I Believe I can Fly'.
These journal pages I made with water color paper so I could do mixed media on, but this page is done with water color only, except for the wings. I started with coloring the background and letting it dry, then stamped the large flowers.
The Girl is almost a solid image stamp, so I spritzed water onto it before stamping onto a separate piece of water color paper. Then I went over her skin with blush blossom ink. Once dry, I fussy cut her out.
Her wings are vellum, and I embossed them in copper ep, cut them out and attached them to the Girl. She is glued down to the page, and I stamped the sentiment last. All stamps are from Unity.
