Hello! And welcome to my first post for The Growing In Unity! I am starting the week off with some simple coloring, just to highlight a little bit of a stamped image. I have also decided to stamp onto some journal cards that I have had for some time. I don't do the traditional journaling, but these cards are great, because they are already pre-printed. Mine are from Stampin Up, but many companies offer these.
So to offset the pre-printed cards, I left the main focal image uncolored, and just added a little color to each. The stamp kits I used from Unity are, (from left to right) Otter love this much, Wondrous, and You are my main squeeze. I used my Prismacolor pencils on these, and they were so quick to do. These are a 3" x 4" card, so perfect size to add to any greeting card, journal, or tags.
Throughout the week I am going to share more coloring options for beginners, to the more advanced colorist. There is two of us sharing projects this week, the other gal is Sandra, so go check out what she is sharing as well. Unity is offering a prize of stamps to one person who comments throughout the week on my posts. And who wouldn't love to win some stamps?!
Thanks so much for visiting!

Those are Great Pam!!! Love the preprinted journaling cards!!
Such a cute idea... the journaling cards are adorable. I really like the effect you get by just colouring a portion of the image.
Love the technique! Coloring only parts of a card is a wonderful technique, because it makes the card appear so clean. A lot of times less is more like in this example. Showing coloring tips is perfect, I for one is looking forward to seeing these tips. Thank you for sharing, Pam.
Like using and selective coloring for journaling cards.
Wow, I never thought to use my journaling cards this way and I have a LOT of them. Off to look them over and start stamping. Thanks
I don't do journaling but I love making cards . I just recently purchased Unity Stamps and I love them.
So cute! I really like the spotlight coloring. I'm going to have to try this. Thanks for sharing! Hugs - Sharon dannyandpeteysmom.blogspot.com
These are so cute! I have "you are my Main squeeze". That's a great idea to stamp on journal cards. That never occurred to me. I look forward to following you this week :)
Wow factor! I love that you left the main image uncolored. These are fantastic! Thank you sharing!

The Unity stamps are so detailed that they don't need a lot of color. I like these.
How cute these are. I especially like the main squeeze one!
I love how you stamped your image and only colored a little.
These will be great on whatever they end up as.
Very cute. I like how you didn't color everything. NICE
This is a lovely set of sweet cards. The colours in small areas really enhance the images.
