Quite a challenge I know!! But I took my colors from the chair cushion. The bunny is paper pieced with Stampin Up papers, and the border along the bottom is from SU as well. For the background I used the small pattern stamp in the set, and inked it with Versamark ink. It was very easy to line up the image to create an all over pattern! That's all for me today, thank you for looking!!

Easter Bunny
When I saw this new stamp set from The Alley Way stamps called Spring Has Sprung, I just had to get it! The bunny is just so cute, and so is the chickie in this set!! I was inspired by the colors in The Alley Way BE INSPIRED challenge with this photo:

I ventured into making a long A10 size card. Something I don't think I've done yet! It's a lot of space to fill for sure! But I was inspired by a post at the Simon Says Stamp blog, where they showcased a long card, so I thought why not?! The Unity Stamp Co. arrow stamp is a pretty good size, so that was good for filling in the top part, and the sentiment I created in My Digital Studio, and actually scaled it down a bit. Perfect for the bottom half!
I used markers to color each part of the arrow, then fussy cut it out and used foam tape to adhere it. I am following the Simon Says Stamp Challenge to use an arrow. And the Design Team are showcasing Basic Grey products, so I used a few on this card. The circle pattern paper at the top is from the Basics Manila 6x6 pad which I sponged on some Wild Honey Distress Ink, and the green rhinestones are also from Basic Grey. The floral paper is digital from Carta Bella. So that takes care of my long card! And there is plenty of room on the inside to write a note!! Thank you for stopping by today!

So Tweet!
This week at the Lawnscaping Challenge they want you to stamp a scene.
Now, this is not one of my strong points. So for my scene, I scaled it down a bit so I wouldn't be overwhelmed with filling a whole card front! I think my little scene came out well this time! And I also have only two Lawn Fawn stamps to work with at the moment, so that was more of a challenge! For the grass, clouds, and the bird perches, I used the Ornate Ornaments stamp set, and the sentiment and birds are from the Jessie's ABC's set. Yes, the birds are actually a capital D! I added the beaks and eyes with fine tip markers. The D makes cute little chubby birds don't you think?!! And I got my layout inspiration from the Seems A Little Sketchy blog with this sketch.

Deer Friend
Hello deer friends!! I had fun creating this card for the Paper Smooches SPARKS challenge! I used one Paper Smooches stamp set(the only one I have!) called Happy Camper to make this. I stamped and embossed the deer onto Basic Grey paper and fussy cut it out. The swirls down the side of the card are actually the flames from the campfire stamp, minus the logs! And I combined two of the sentiment stamps to make mine, which I paper punched out. A little washi at the bottom to ground my deer, and done! This time around you are to follow a color story called carnival which is here:

Who's There?
Happy Friday!!! I finally got a Friday where I can join in on the Unity blog for Friends With Flair day! Link up your Unity stamp projects to win! I used two Unity stamps on this card. The awesome large Jillibean Soup Chevron background, which I embossed with clear EP. And a sweet itty bitty set called Thoughts of WHO. When I first saw this tree, I knew it had to have buttons and brads on it, so that's what I did! And if you look close at the top, there is another owl peeking through, so cute!! I kept this one really CAS, and love the crisp look of it. I am also playing along with The Play Date Cafe's color story this week which is Carnation, Mint, and Juniper.
Thank you so much for stopping by!

The Paper Shelter DT Call
Happy Valentine's Day everyone!! I do not have a lovey dovey card share today, but rather a card for which I am applying for the Design Team at The Paper Shelter blog. You must use a digital image when entering, so I chose to use one of their images called Let's Make a Picnic. They have the most adorable images ever!! Most of my watercoloring is done with pencils, but I begun to experiment with other mediums to get richer colors. On this image I used mostly Rangers Distress Stains, and a few Distress Inks. I love the shading I can get with the rich Stains! This may be my new coloring medium!! For the background, I used chalks to fill in all the white space after the paper was completely dry. The sentiment is stamped with Stazon ink with a Unity sentiment. I want to wish everyone the best of luck with the DT call! Thank you so much for stopping by!!

On my quest for making Valentines this year, I have realized that I have no good heart stamps! Two real small ones that just won't do, and another that has family words all over it. Hmmmm, guess I'll just make do! This large heart is a Sizzix movers and shapers die that I cut out with chipboard, then cut out another with SU! dsp. Looks good to me!! I wanted to stamp some hearts behind it, but since none were fitting, I chose to use the sentiment from an {ippity} by Unity set. And speaking of Unity, I just got an order in from them which I got the chevron background stamp. It is a co-brand stamp by Jillibean Soup, and it's huge!! I love a large background stamp!! Even though I only used a potion of it here, I will most definitely be covering a card with it!! :) The 'Love' sentiment is alphabet stickers. Oh, and how cute is that pom pom trim?! Found that at Meijer on clearance, so sweet!! I am entering this card in a few challenges which all fit the Valentine theme this week! Thank you for visiting!!

Two Firsts
Funny title, I know, but this Card has two firsts for me. I am entering it into the Paper Smooches Sparks challenge which the trend watch is Polka Dots. First time entering there, as this is my first Paper Smooches stamp set called Happy Camper!!! This bear is just so cute!! And my second first is the use of washi tape. Yes, this is my first card ever using it!! :) The pink chevron tape I won from my sweet blog friend Emily(thank you, loving it!). And the yellow washi I got from JoAnns. I kept this card really CAS to show off the cute bear and my new washi tapes!! So, that's my two firsts for the day!! Loving them! Thank you for stopping by, your comments always are welcome!!
