Gingersnap Creations has a Color Challenge-Jewel tones plus Gold. Click here to see what it's all about! I was going with a stained glass look to this card, and added gold glitter for the leading in between each piece. The stamps are from an Ippity set, Regal Greetings. I embossed the frame and sentiment with gold embossing powder, and the other small stamp I just used watermark ink.
Parts of our town got flooded today from all the rain and melting snow. No damage here, thank goodness. Down at the Ford dealership, the water was so deep, cars were floating away! Hope the rain holds off a bit. Hope the rest of you aren't floating away!

Ippity Challenge!
Here is a card I made for the Ippity challenge at Splitcoast Stampers Forum! Anyone can enter, you just have to use Ippity Stamps!! Check their blog here for more info! I used two Ippity stamp sets on this one. Party Hat Wishes, and the sentiment from How You Doin. The daisy paper is from Sandylion. I used Palette Hybrid ink in Burnt Umber, and Stampin Up! ink in blush blossom. There is cotton candy stickles on it all, but doesn't show up well in the pic. I used a spellbinders die for the fancy label. Got lots of snow today here in Ohio, so what better way to spend the day than in my craft room!! I'm going to see what else I can come up with today! Thank you for looking in!
CCC #33
This week at Linda's StudioL3 blog we are using the Altered Metal Alcohol Inks technique. Click here to go see what it's all about! This is my piece. Very plain and to the point. I got this metal stamping kit from my sister-in-law, and used the charm that came in the kit. I stamped ART into it, and used lettuce AI on it. Hung some beads from the bottom. I also inked the ball chain with cranberry AI. Sorry, but my heart just wasn't into creating with metal this week! I think it's the alcohol inks really, sometimes I just can't get them to do what I want! You should really check out the other entries, the ladies have done some beautiful things with this technique! Thanks for stopping in!

Teeny Tiny!
June at Dezinaworld has the theme this week as Teeny Tiny for her spot prize challenge. This little Sizzix die box was the first thing that came to my mind. I pictured it with a bottle of stickles(because I'm pretty sure we all know how big, or small they are!) I added glitter, and stickles to the pattern of the paper, and micro beads to the flowers. I almost had to get the reading glasses out for this one, but I managed!! So this to me is Teeny Tiny! Click on the link above to go to her site and see all the other teeny things!!

Unity Stamp Company New Challenge!!
Unity Stamp Co. has a new month long challenge blog, and info is here. I made a twisted easel card, that I learned from my blogger friend Cheryl(thanks hun!). This one measures 4"x4" when folded. The theme this month is hearts! I chose an Itty Bitty stamp that I won from the Ippity challenge, just perfect!! I went for a shabby chic style, adding some scrap fabric, and floral paper. The flowers of the stamp were colored in with chalks, and I used Unity's Pallette ink for the stamping. The sentiment I embossed with UTEE. Some buttons, and an EK border punch finished it off! These are fun cards to make, as one blogger said, 'addictive'!! Check Unity's blog for more entries, and to enter yourself! A stamp set is the prize!! Now who wouldn't love that?!!

CCC #32!!
This week at Linda's blog, we are inking and stamping masks. Very fun and easy technique this one is. Click here to see her blog, and all the entries! I did a tag this week, and chose stamps that I have from Stampin Up! The sentiment is a Unity Itty Bitty. The colors I used were forrest moss, black soot, and vintage photo DI, and really rust from Stampin Up! I stamped my mask with stazon, on a scrap from a package, and my new thing to do with ribbon, heat it with my heat gun and crinkle it up, love that! Have to go check everyone's beautiful work now! Thanks for stopping by!

Twisted Easel Card
My blogger friend Cheryl was gracious enough to show a tutorial on how to make her twisted easel cards. Click here to see it on her blog! This one was made for my DH, along with the tag I made last week(for his candy)! It's really simple to do! I did emboss the i love you with black powder, but it doesn't show up on camera. The heart background paper is also embossed, but I cheated on that one, cause it already came that way!! hehe I just may do this for my next workshop! It's something different than a plain card! Thanks again Cheryl!!
My first video tutorial!
This is my first stamping video I have made! Thanks to Gingersnap Creations blog for the template for this tea bag! I hope you all enjoy it!

Ippity Birdie!
I made this card for the Ippity monthly challenge at Splitcoast Stampers. I stamped the bird with versafine(onyx) onto sticky back canvas. Then I took my blender pen and dabbed it into blue lagoon chalk ink by colorbox. I started coloring it in that way. It would work better with Rangers nubs, but this is all I had. I also used lipstick red the same way. It gives the canvas a painted look, but with ink! I also frayed the edges a bit. The heart background was stamped randomly with versafine, as was the sentiment. All stamps used are from Ippity's set Music of My Heart. Check my sidebar to see the full set! Thanks for stopping by!

CCC # 31!!
This week for the CCC challenge at StudioL3 we are doing the rusted enamel technique. Another fun, easy, and cool look this one gives. I made a tag for my DH. I used watermelon red ink for this, and vintage photo DI. The rosette was stamped with an Ippity heart, then I used my MS scoreboard to make it. The heart die cut is a sizzix, and I used DCWV glitter paper. I used 2 sentiments stamps, the {heart} is from Unity, and the other is from Hero Arts, that I stamped with black Stazon. A bit of ribbon that I scrunched up with my heat tool, and viola!! Hope he likes it! There are lots of entries already to see, so hop on over! Thanks for looking in!

Dezinaworld Spot Prize Challenge-My First Digital Art
The theme this week at Dezinaworld is charming. So I looked through the images that I have of June's, and decided to make a total digital piece of art. I've used digital images before, but encorporated them into 3D work. So here is what I came up with! The only software I have is Microsoft Digital Image Pro. Perfect name! I really wasn't sure what I was doing, but I played with all the different 'tools' until I was happy with the look. I'm still not sure how to use the layering tool, but I wanted to see the background, and the charming couple. Let me know how I did! There's more to see at June's blog, so go have a look!

CCC # 30
Another fun week at Linda's StudioL3 blog has us altering metal with paint. It's always fun to see what technique from Tim's book we'll be doing next! I started doing these challenges on week 14 I think, so I missed out on the first 14 week's! But, I am glad to have come across her blog to join in, and have met some fabulous artists there! So my take this week is an altered pop can. What? you say?! I saw this done in a Stampin Up! idea book awhile back and thought it was a neat idea. I cut the can apart and used the tattered florals die again! I think I'm going to wear this one out! After die cutting, I used an embossing folder to emboss all the pieces. I started painting until I was satisfied. I also sprayed a clear finish over all the pieces so the paint wouldn't scratch off, that's why it's shiny! Once I assembled the flower, I didn't know what to do with it! Since I made a headband yesterday, I decided to make a barrette. I covered the plain barrette with ribbon, then with wire attached the flower. The leaves are from May Arts. I really didn't want to show the back of it since it's not very attractive, but who will see it on my head anyway?! Just wanted to show that it is a pop can. Have lots to see at the blog now, so let's get to altering that metal!

Dezinaworld Hues of Blues
June has chosen hues of blues for this week's spot prize challenge at her Dezinaworld blog! After thinking for awhile on what to make, I went with wearable art. I always wear headbands in the warm weather months, so I fancied up one of mine. The flowers are all made with grungepaper, and patterned paper glued on top. A couple are embossed. I also died some sheer ribbon with pigment ink, and with my heat tool shriveled it up, and laced it around the flowers. The tiny flowers are ceramic, that were died with Alcohol ink, and I even tried to die the butterfly that is flying above the one flower! All pieces are wired to the headband with soft copper wire. My 4 year old boy was my model for the pics, and I won't show my hubby! lol Head on over to see all the other blue creations!
